Inspired by David Foster Wallace’s essay ‘Consider the Lobster’, Atomsphere and Firefly Strategies invite the community to join us for an engaging discussion about using artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and thoughtfully in our daily lives. We will put our ideas and values into practice by co-creating a community-led decision model for when to use AI and how.
We welcome the community! Whether you are an AI expert or have never used AI a day in your life, all voices and experiences are encouraged to participate.

An article I wrote for Arms Control Today about the filming locations for the movie Oppenheimer. The locations chosen for the Manhattan Project played a pivotal role in the story of the atomic bomb. Not casting the landscape accurately erases an important detail from the film’s portrayal of the development of the world’s most lethal weapon.
